We are an organization that was founded in 2001. The social, political and economic crisis in Argentina called us to generate projects, actions, networks and alliances in order to defend access to economic, political, social and environmental rights in the country and the region. In 2006 we became a foundation.

During 2024, the alarming crisis context once again prompted us to design new strategies. We want to support and strengthen rural and indigenous territorial organizations through concrete tools and solutions to promote collective power from the territory. That is why Fundación Plurales became SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL FUND PLURALES.

Thus, we expand our work strategies by focusing all our actions on directly supporting communities and organizations of activists, defenders of the environment and the territory through feminist care practices, transparency, respect, and by mobilizing flexible resources in their actions to defend and protect people and the ecosystem where they live, essential for life in the Global South.
